The Scioto Miles 10 Miler is back again in 2015! This will again be the premier event of the summer offering a one-of-a-kind, point-to-point race. The Scioto Miles 10 Miler is an ideal goal race for the summer, or can serve as a great tune-up race for the Emerald City Half Marathon and all your fall half or full marathons.

• $75 – July 16th through Race Day

Prize Money!

New this year we are continuing the Age/Gender graded $1,000 top prize, BUT we are ALSO offering $500 to the top male and female finishers! That makes $2,000 is total cash prizes!

All you speedy folks out there, young and old take notice! Young guys, get off your mom’s couch and show us your stuff. Ladies, show these guys you can hang with the boys anytime, anywhere! You may come across the line first, but unless you have what it takes you ain’t taking home to cash!

Packet Pickup

Early packet pickup will be held Thursday, July 3oth through Saturday, August 1st at Fleet Feet Sports. We highly recommend all 10 Milers pickup at Fleet Feet in advance. ALL RACE DAY PACKETS WILL BE AT GENOA PARK. THERE WILL BE NO PACKET PICKUP AT GRIGGS RESERVOIR.

Race Day packet pickup begins at 5:30am and ends promptly at 6:15am. PACKETS WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE AFTER 6:15am ON RACE DAY!

The Course

The Scioto Mile(s) 10 Miler will take you along the Scioto River beginning at Griggs Reservoir to the north. You will pass by the confluence of the Scioto and Olentangy rivers before arriving in downtown Columbus at Genoa Park at the finish line. Click here for a course map!

10 Mile Starting Point

The starting point for the 10 miler is at Griggs Reservoir in Upper Arlington. All 10 Miler participants should plan on parking downtown at COSI. 10 Miler participants will be bused from Genoa Park to the starting line.

Bus Shuttle

There is NO parking or drop-off at the start; you must take one of our buses. The bus pickup is located at the rear of COSI on Washington Street bewteen Main St and Broad St. Bus pickup will start at 5:30AM with the last bus leaving at 6:15AM. We suggest taking one of the earlier buses to the start.

Bus Departure Times

Departure times are 5:30am, 5:45am, 6:00am and 6:15am.  Transportation will NOT be provided back to the starting area after the race, so plan to park at COSI and ride the buses to the starting line. Spectators may watch from Griggs, however parking is limited. We will have tents, restrooms and gear check at Griggs.

Gear Bags

Please make sure your gear bag has your correct race number on it. The start line will have a drop off area and your bag will be transported to the finish area. Please do not leave any valuables in your gear bag.
